"Make sure you get the
BEST PRICE POSSIBLE

from your dvd wholesaler of choice"

Hello Friend,

The dvd suppliers in my directory are all different and offer a wide variety of terms. Some will require you to fill out an application. If you are new to purchasing dvd's at wholesale prices, this is not an unusual request. Before handing over their price list, these companies want to make sure you are a legitimate company buying for resale, and not a guy looking to buy 3 DVD's a month for personal use.

One of my favorite dvd suppliers listed in the directory is VPD. I paid another seller $500 for the contact information of this dvd wholesaler four years ago. It was one of the best purchases I have ever made.

VPD is one of the largest dvd wholesalers in the country. They are a true dvd wholesaler. Their pricing is confidential and is done on an individual basis. Here are some tips to getting the best prices possible from this Mega DVD Wholesaler.

VPD will set your initial prices based on "what they think" you are going to average in sales. So if you present yourself as an inexperienced buyer, you'll get treated as such. You will not get as good pricing as the buyer that presents themselves as established and able to move a substantial volume.

As one of your bonuses, I included a copy of the letter I sent with my application to VPD. I put this letter on my letterhead and attached it to my application. It turned out to be a nice touch. I was able to get better pricing than the established seller that sold me the contact information for $500!

Here are some tips that will help you get the best pricing possible.

1. If the supplier requires you to fill out an application attach a letter similar to the one I included in your bonuses. Be sure and put the letter on your letter head, and state your objectives clearly and professionally.

You shouldn't make the mistake of copying my letter exactly. Just use it as a guide. If you don't have an established business, just write a letter stating who you are and what you intend to accomplish in the near future.

2. Give the dvd supplier some idea of what type of volume you expect to sell. Remember the more they think you are going to sell, the better pricing they are going to give you. Use a big number, BUT BE REALISTIC! If you try and convince the supplier you are going to sell 100,000 DVD's a month, it will probably have the opposite effect. I recommend using a number of 500 - 2000 DVD's per month.

3. Use correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation. I am the worst speller in the world. But there is this neat thing called a SPELLCHECKER. I've learned to use it and you should too. Put yourself in the suppliers shoe's. If you are in charge of setting pricing for new customers, which customer do you think will be around long term and deserves the best pricing.

Customer A I ecpect to sail a lot of muvies every munth.

or

Customer B I expect to sell an average of 1,000 DVD's per month.

4. The good thing about dvd wholesalers is the pricing is always negotiable. I've had my pricing lowered by Ingram two times since I first started selling. A few months after you have started selling, don't hesitate to write your sales rep and request better pricing if your volume merits this. The worst they can say is No! Good luck with your business.
