Hi Friend,

eBay offers a lot of choices when setting up an auction. There are so many choices, it can get confusing. I use the KISS rule when listing my auctions. (keep It Simple Stupid)

When I first started selling on eBay, many of the Extra Features that eBay now offers were FREE. Yes that's right. No cost, nothing, FREE. As eBay has continued to dominate and monopolize the online auction market place, these items moved from Free to Costly.

My research shows the majority of these features are not worth the extra cost. Until recently, the only extra feature I used was the Buy It Now option. Then eBay decided to raise the cost of Buy It Now. So out of protest, I no longer use the feature at all. Do you think eBay is going to miss the $3,000 - $5,000 a year I won't be paying for this feature? Probably not.

But auction fees are high enough without adding all the extra features. Experiment with the features if you wish, but at the end of the day I believe you will come to the same conclusion I did. It is not worth the extra money.
