Myth #1 Buy New Release DVDs for $3

Dear Friend,

There are a lot of websites selling CD & DVD Wholesale Lists that will try and convince you that you can find New Release DVDs for prices that are TO GOOD TO BE TRUE. There is a saying, "If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is".

These sellers prey on your desire to find New Release Movies for very cheap prices. I seen one seller advertising a source for new release movies at only $3.00! One went so far as to show a screen shot of a website with new release covers with a $3.00 price.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Yes, it is true their are more than a few websites selling "IMPORT NEW RELEASE" movies for $3 - $4. But these are not the Region 1 movies that you will need to build a long term and prosperous business.

Not only do the sellers of these lists fail to mention that these movies are imports, they also don't tell you the movies do not contain any special features, have poor picture and sound quality, and they don't even come in cases. They are shipped in plastic sleeves. You can't build a business trying to sell that kind of second rate product.

If this is the type of product you are looking for the net is full of businesses that pop up offering these second rate movies.

These type of movies may be okay for personal use if you don't mind missing the special features, won't miss the cases, and don't mind poor quality movies. But if your desire is to start a long term business that you can build a customer base where you can make $500, $1,000, or even $10,000 a month or more, you need the MAJOR SUPPLIER used by most DVD rental stores, eBay's top DVD sellers, and most internet CD & DVD vendors.

I've purchased several other lists to size up my competition. Most of them do not even mention the name of this Mega DVD Distributor that I am talking about. The lists that do name this MAJOR SUPPLIER obviously don't understand the significance of it. They bury the name deep within the list with more than 100 other suppliers and never mention this is America's largest supplier.

These sellers are being dishonest in the name of making a profit. If you are searching for a wholesale directory, you are obviously interested in starting a business. You maybe struggling financially and looking for a way to supplement your income. The last thing you need is someone making false promises in order to squeeze a few dollars out of you.

I'll leave you with this last thought. I often make the analogy of America's largest retailer Wal-Mart. This company is well known for selling product just above cost. Have you ever went into a Wal-Mart and found a New Release DVD for $4.99, $7.99, or even $9.99. Absolutely not! But you have seen them for $17.99, $19.99, and $22.99.

If you could buy new release DVDs for less than $10, Wal-Mart would be selling them for $9.99. But this isn't the case. New Release DVDs are at a premium even for a company the size of Wal-Mart. Now do you really believe someone can sell you a wholesale list where you can buy movies cheaper than the price paid by the World's Largest Retailer?

I don't want to discourage you, there is money to be made in selling CD & DVD movies. I am living proof that an ordinary guy can make a good income from doing so. But to be successful, you need the facts and not empty promises or HYPE.
